
Renovated terrace on noisy main road. Clients' requirements were to reduce traffic noise whilst still retaining the heritage integrity of the building. A combination of secondary windows, primary hinged doors, fixed sashes, decorative glazing and bi fold doors were supplied and installed. Timber used were a mixture of western red cedar and Kalantis timbers. Glazing included laminated glass from 6.38mm to 10.38mm and insulated glass units (double glazing) with units up to 34mm in overall thickness and acoustic seals. |
